Former Presidential Candidate and Leader of the All People’s Congress (APC) Samura Kamara has reiterated his statement during the formal launching of the Tripartite Committee on 21st November 2023.

Kamara stated that the resulting of inter-party dialogue is arguable the most peaceful and multistakeholder out-of-court settlement.

While elaborating on the importance of peace, he said as political leaders of their time, they must advise themselves that not all fights require guns, violence, knives, broken bottles, ‘mammy coss’ (abusive languages) plenty spin and political masking and hypocrisy.

He said good fights require only wisdom, tolerance, mutual respect and patriotism, adding that experience suggests that there are no easy, catch-all solutions to the difficulties they face in deciding how to handle deceitful or dissembling politics and economic management.

“There is however no room for complacency or despair. We are making history”.
