Recent reports reveal that Karpowership is poised to resume its normal supply of electricity to Freetown, the capital city of Sierra Leone.
This development follows an agreement reached between Karpowership Management and the Government of Sierra Leone.
This developmemt comes amidst a severe blackout that engulfed Freetown due to the government’s outstanding debt of over US$27 million owed to Karpowership.
The urgency of the situation was heightened by the partial suspension of operations by Karpowership, the primary electricity supplier to Freetown.
As the city anticipates the restoration of power, this agreement signals a potential relief from the electricity crisis that has gripped the capital.
Why government nor want spend money to electricity to. Make our own in stead of Karp ownership.
When karpowership will resume it operation Mr prezo ?

If the government cannot pay the suppliers, let us (the consumers) pay our top up monehy directly to the Karpower ship.
Did I just see $27 million to pay Kar electricity? Or it’s a joke.
1) An entire country can not afford 27 million, which is now a past due amount, that is such a shame. How bad off are we? And even if this is true and they pay the 27 million and we geh light, in about a year, we are in the same position again.
2) We can’t pay $27 million for electricity, but last year the government budgeted $8 million for Maada Bio to travel and the majority of those trips were not neccessary.
Let the government use our 2 years tax money to buy the karpowership
I suggest we forget about this endless spending on Karpowership and take a loan and build ours instead.
How long will we continue paying money for electricity supply?
Why can’t we once and for all solve the issue of light in this country by getting our own?
Even if the ship is $100 million we can afford to buy one and finally forget about owing debts because of light.
With the revenue we get from allonong companies in this country,we can even buy two of that shop if only we are determined to do that.
Is the ship or its owners also praying for our water they use to generate the electricity we are paying them for?

Solar Energy is the way forward for Sierra Leone. When the government goes begging again, please beg for a 50Mw Solar Plant rather than a Bridge or some other useless egocentric structure.
