There is a report of protests over fuel scarcity in Kenema District, Eastern Region of Sierra Leone, according to reports on social media.

One social media user, Precious Marion George shared the video on Facebook, stating that people in Kenema are protesting for fuel.

The current fuel scarcity which returned to major parts of Freetown on Sunday has intensified during the week with long queues in filling stations across the country.

The commercial riders and private vehicle owners Sierraloaded spoke to said that some fuel stations are claiming that they do not have enough fuel to dispense to customers.
