President Ernest Bai Koroma on Thursday 14th May hosted the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair at State House, Freetown.
As the Ebola outbreak ends, President Koroma stated that government is committed and focused to getting to and staying at zero until the World Health Organization’s forty two (42) days period is over.
Mr. Tony Blair acknowledged the fact that there has been significant progress in the fight against the receding Ebola virus.
Both President Koroma and Mr. Blair expressed commitment to the post Ebola economic recovery programmes and restart the country’s development activities. Considerable part of the meeting was done behind closed doors.
