A video circulating on social media has sparked widespread outrage as it captures the disturbing burial of individuals presumed to be victims of drug abuse.

The footage depicts a member of the burial team apparently stepping on a victim who was still showing signs of life, reigniting conversations about the treatment of drug victims and the government’s response to the drug epidemic.

In an interview conducted by award-winning journalist Amadu Lamrana Bah, Head of the Burial Team at the Connaught Hospital Mortuary, Sinneh Kamara delved deeper into the harrowing incident.

Kamara disclosed chilling details, revealing that the 32 individuals laid to rest in a mass grave had languished in the mortuary for over a month, their identities unknown.

While Kamara couldn’t provide concrete medical records, he was adamant that these 32 individuals were Kush addicts, citing telltale signs such as foot wounds and other indicators commonly associated with drug abuse.

“We’re witnessing a staggering death toll among our youth due to drug addiction,” Kamara lamented. “It’s imperative that the government takes decisive action.”

Despite the alarming death toll, Kamara underscored the urgent need for governmental intervention, emphasizing the escalating crisis of drug abuse claiming young lives on a daily basis
