A photo of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice, Anthony Brewah who is a member of the Prerogative of Mercy Committee, and the Minister of Information and Communications, Mohamed Rahman Swaray with Baimba Moiforay (LAC) who was controversially granted presidential pardon has emerged.

President Bio yesterday revoked the presidential pardon that was granted to LAC on January 1st and announced that an investigation will be instituted.

State House Press Secretary and Presidential Spokesman, Yusuf Keketoma Sandi said on public radio earlier today that the process to grant pardon to Moiforay was irregular and flawed.

The Prerogative of Mercy Committee did not meet certain criteria and these are the issues that will be investigated by the Investigation Committee that are yet to be made public.

However, Minister of Information, Mohamed Rahman Swaray says the photo with Baimba Moiforay (LAC) was taken in the AG’s parlour in Tiama where he had stopped over to pay him a courtesy call as he usually do when passing through Tiama.
