The tribunal set up to investigate the suspended Auditor General, Madam Lara Taylor Pearce and her Deputy, Tamba Momoh will today continue at the country’s Supreme Court on Siaka Stevens Street in Freetown.
The Exclusive Newspaper reports that, at the past hearing, the Tribunal suffered setback, as, according to its Chairperson, Justice Nyawo Finda Matturi-Jones, the Secretariat is currently faced with logistical issues for some four months now, adding that there were also lots of delay regarding where the Tribunal should sit. Initially, she said there were plans to have it sit at the Special Court facility but that they later settled for their current location.
