A senior Cabinet Minister in the ruling All Peoples Congress (APC) party has dismissed claims that the nude photographs doing the rounds in the social media are those of Ambassador Victor Bockarie Foh.

Speaking to Global Times in an interview yesterday, the Minister who refused to be identified said Victor Foh is only a victim of vicious intra party politics which is slowly tearing the ruling party apart. He said the intent of the outrageous publication was simply to demean and ridicule Mr. Foh and argued that the picture was doctored neatly to make it look real.

The Minister argued further that in these days of technology, there is very little that a computer cannot do, noting that the photographs in question are the work of technology. “It can’t be Victor Foh. He couldn’t have exposed himself to a camera that way. That is not possible at all”, he said while urging Sierra Leoneans to dismiss the pictures as fiction.

While calling on Sierra Leoneans not to abuse but to make good use of technology to develop their country and acquire knowledge, the Minister admitted however that the outrageous publication is in his words, an embarrassment to country, Ambassador Foh’s family and abhorrent to Muslims particularly during this Holy month of Ramadan.

The Minister concluded that they have advised Ambassador Foh not to comment on the social media publication that was meant to besmear and provoke him to anger. “After all serious person apart from his detractors will believe those as genuine photographs”.
