In his Public education on Public Education drive, Sierra Leone’s Minister for Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), David Monina Sengeh has on the 19th January, 2023 informed the media about the bilateral learning exchange on quality education between Sierra Leone and Ghana.
Speaking on the bilateral exchange he said, ‘’Sierra Leone and Ghana have lots in common. This week, my colleague Minister of Education- Ghana, Dr Adutwum, and his team are hosting my team and me on a bilateral learning exchange on quality education.’’
He furthered that, there are several partners in common within the two countries ranging from, Right to Play, Lego Foundation, BRAC and Education Outcomes Fund, as well as the visit to Ghana that was facilitated by Right To Play.
Referencing technology and technological improvements, he assured that, they are digging deep into technical programmatic and policy innovations, which the two nations are pursuing to accelerate learning.
‘’Both of our countries are prioritizing inclusive and accessible education, promoting STEM, and pursuing systematic delivery innovations. South-South and regional peer learning isn’t politics for us. It’s how we will help our children learn what they need to compete globally.,” he concluded.
