Conrad Sackey, Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE) has announced the extension in time for the submission of all entries for NPSE and BECE by school heads across the country.
The released maintained that, the Ministry of Basic and Senior Secondary School Education, (MBSSE) collaborated with the Sierra Leone Teachers’ Union (SLTU) to send out the information to all schools that have not submitted their entries for the 2024 National Primary School Examination (NPSE) and Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), that the West African Examination Council (WAEC) portal will be opened again for the final time from Wednesday 7th to Saturday 10th February, 2024 (midnight).
They have urged all Heads of affected schools to comply with the deadline or would have themselves to blame.
They also called on all parents/guardians to check with school heads to ensure that their children/ward are registered for the National Primary School Examination (NPSE) and Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE) entries.
