On Monday, May 1st, 2023, Dr. Memunatu Pratt, the Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, along with the National Tourist Board (NTB) management, bid farewell to a group of international journalists from various outlets in Europe who visited Sierra Leone to explore the country’s tourism markets and establish networking opportunities.

During a gathering at the prestigious Country Lodge Restaurant in Hill Station, Freetown.

Minister Pratt expressed gratitude on behalf of His Excellency, President Rtd. Brig. Julius Maada Bio, to the foreign media representatives.

She also encouraged them to return to Sierra Leone whenever possible and to produce positive coverage of their experiences in the country.

The visiting journalists hailed from the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Spain, and Belgium, and their purpose for the visit was to evaluate Sierra Leone’s tourism markets.
