Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education, Conrad Sackey Visited Pentecostal School Yesterday following the tragic incident in which two children died at the school.
According to Ministry Sackey, he said; “Yesterday I visited the National Pentecostal School following the tragic incident in which two children were allegedly found dead inside a stationary vehicle parked at the residence of the Bishop of National Pentecostal.’’
“Deeply troubled by this heartbreaking event, I also met with LUC Osman Kamara at the Central Police Station for a briefing on the case’’, Ministry Sackey stated.
Ministry Sackey, also informed that the matter is now with the Criminal Investigations Department (CID), and the bishop of the church, along with his attendants, is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
He further reaffirms the government’s unwavering commitment to strengthening child protection and ensuring school safety.
“As we mourn this devastating loss, I urge communities, parents, and school authorities to remain vigilant in safeguarding our children. No child should ever be in harm’s way.” said Minister Sackey.
