The Minister and Deputy Minister of Information and Civic Education visited the Sierra Leone Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) to inquire about the challenges the corporation is facing.
Minister Bah shared pictures of the event and his interactions with SLBC staff on his Twitter account.
He conveyed his commitment to revitalizing the Corporation, citing the President of Sierra Leone’s past success in revamping it during his tenure as Chief of Information under AFRC rule.
“The SierraLeone Broadcasting Corporation is Africa’s oldest national broadcaster. PresidentBio revamped it when he was Chief of Information during the NPRC days,” he commented.
In adhearing to the task which is to bring the Corporation to 21st Century look, he led a town-hall meeting with staff of the SLBC to discuss their challenges and confront them to deliver on the President vision.
He wrote, “He’s tasked us to bring it to the 21st century. Yesterday, I led a town-hall with all their staff to discuss their challenges and their ideas for this transformation. @Keketoma_Sandi and I left sobered by the immense challenges, but resolute to confront them and deliver on the vision of the President.”
