Ministry of Justice Issues Final Warning to Ex-President Koroma on Compliance With Court Order

The Ministry of Justice has issued a letter to the former president of Sierra Leone, Dr Ernest Bai Koroma urging him to comply with a Court’s judgment on the refund payments for the sale of the country’s Nurseryland.

The former president Koroma, according to the Appeal Court was found guilty of selling Sierra Leone’s Nurseryland to Winners Chapel Church and Hillal Toufic at a sum of $135,000. The Court of Appeal ordered Former President Koroma to refund the sum of $135,000.00 and pay the sum of le 300,000,000.00 as court costs.

However, despite the Court’s Order and the Ministry of Justice’s demand letter on the 20th December 2023 to comply with the said order, the outstanding amount remains unpaid. As a result, the Ministry insisted on immediate compliance with the Court Order.

It went on to demand that the full payment be made within 48 hours from the date of this letter, adding that failure to comply with this demand would leave them with no alternative but to pursue further legal action to enforce the court’s order including but not limited to seizure of the former president Koroma’s assets.

Maada Bio stole Le800 Billion from the Central Bank but nobody questioned him about that Not Eve n the ACC. Again, $68.5 Million was used to BRIBE to get the Leones in circulation in this country. Nobody talks about that. The ACC Commissioner justified the Bribing system Furthermore, Maada Bio and his family want out of the country for almost a month. He came back with TAKE Receipts. When he was guestioned by the Auditor General, Maada Bio ended up sacking the Auditor General. The ACC and the Judiciary were all aware of all these incidents but they did not speak for the Common Man This is the country where the Bank Governor ran away because of pressure from Maada Bio to constantly supply him with money every day. Remember, Maada Bio has even PAID a lot of money before he handed power to His SLPP brother, Alhaji Ahmed Tejan Kabba. Besides Maada Bio stole the sum of. $18 million from the Central Bank before he handed over power to Pa Kabba. If for sure Ernest Bai Koroma is a Thief, then Maada Bio is more of a thief than Ernest Bai Koroma. Please let us wait, after he hands over, we Will get to learn more about Maada Bio. It is very unfortunate that we have not got a Patriotic Leader. WE have not got a a leader who thinks about the common mann. The only TRUSTED GENTLE MAN is Dr. Samura Kamara. I want to ask a question. The former president, was he ruling the nation or he was just bust busy ruining this nation? Did he just embezzled the nation's wealth to build an empire for himself. Look, we are all Sierra Leonean and we know the truth that we are going through a lot in this nation. Things are hard. Nothing is changing. Everything just remain the same. Over 11 years under the leadership of the former president, we were supposed to have been delivered from this hardship in this country or minimized. But yet we are still crying. This is because there was no sustainable development. No plan for we the masses, but all their plan was for themselves and family. Imagine the kind of money he embezzled which were supposed to benefit the country and to move the country one step forward. But all of that was used by just one man " state man". And some people who are not sincer to themselves, if they were the former president, they will do the same, are supporting what the former president did to this country. And they are calling it a political witch hunt. I pity you. 😕 I am not against the selling the property, but my question is, what did he do with the money? Let us be wise. We are not supposed to be at this level in this country now. The former president had all the resources to transform this nation. But instead, he gathered everything for himself and his family. If he did well he would have been resting presently at his residence. But you see, God have heard our cry and he is responding to our prayers. Don't worry! Even if we have another government, SLPP will be investigated.
