The Ministry of Planning and Economic Development (MoPED) Hosts Mano River Union (MRU) Secretary General Ambassador Maria G. Harrison for Discussions on Developmental Issues and President Bio’s ‘Big Five’ Game Changers.

The discussion focused on aligning protocols for the ‘Big Five’ agenda and addressing the drug war in member states. This occurred in the lead-up to the Union’s 50th anniversary preparations, discussions about the Peace Village, and plans related to a sports academy in Malima Pujehun District.

The ministry has also met with Lisa J. Chesney on a courtesy visit she paid to the ministry. They also had talks around the possible collaboration on climate change, environment, governance, renewable energy, investment opportunities, mutual and shared interest in development effectiveness.
