Hon. Mohamed Bangura, representing Karene District for the All People’s Congress (APC) in Sierra Leone, was formally sworn in at the Pan-African Parliament (PAP) during its 3rd Ordinary Session of the Sixth Parliament.

He currently chairs the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee and is reportedly considering a presidential bid in 2028. The ongoing PAP session focuses on education under the theme “The Year of Education: Educate an African Fit for the 21st Century,” aiming to enhance Africa’s education systems.
