The Ministry Of Health And Sanitation Through The Minister, Austin Demby has welcomed a delegation from the West African College of Surgeons in Sierra Leone.

The delegation involved the leadership of the college and the engagement was to finalize plans for hosting the 64th general meeting and scientific conference on the 3-7 March, 2024.

The minister anticipates a very positive and proactive working relationship in terms of surgical services throughout the country as that may even help to enhance and equip the sector.

This also came as part of the fulfilment of the minister’s positive health for all campaign in ensuring that the health system in the country gets a positive transformation at all times. He assured that, the country will be well prepared to host the conference as well as making every necessary step to make it very successful.
