MOHS Launches Strategy to End Obstetric Fistula
Mohamed Aruna The Minister of Health and Sanitation (MOHS), Austin Demby has on the 23rd May, 2023 commemorated the international day to end obstetric fistula in Sierra Leone at the Bo Government Hospital.
The launch was targeted on a 5 point strategy which is expected to be achieved by 2030 on the theme “20 years on-progress but not enough! Act now end fistula by 2030!”
The strategies ranges from; prevention, quality care, governance, resource mobilization and M&E respectively.
The Minister of Health as poised to achieve his transformational health platform which geared towards development of modern Sierra Leone has been key in the health sector and tapping on strategies to have the sector working properly for the people of Sierra Leone.
