The Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) of the Bank of Sierra Leone (BSL), has after a thoughtful assessment of the recent global and domestic macroeconomic developments and their implications for price and financial stability in Sierra Leone, decided to raise the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) by 75 basis points to 15.0 percent.
The MPC of the Bank of Sierra Leone made this announcement on its Press Statement issued out on the 5th April 2022.
