Sierra Leone Government Ferry, M.V Bai Bureh that has been on maintenance for the past 3 months is set to kick off operation to link Freetown and Lungi through Government Wharf.
The ferry will be operating from Government Wharf Terminal to Lungi Tagrin Terminal. This is implemented to help ease heavy traffic at Kissy Road and Furah Bay whiles going to Lungi.
M.V Bai Bureh was bought by the National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) during the former government. It was operating at Kissy Ferry Terminal to Lungi Tagrin before it got parked.
The ferry which was maintenance by the government of Sierra Leone will be operating from Government Wharf Terminal to Lungi Tagrin Terminal. The ferry is being manned and operated by Etterna Ship Management SL Ltd.
