The National Social Security and Insurance Trust (NASSIT) has postponed the proposed reopening of the Sewa Grounds Market scheduled for Tuesday, July 1st 2025, to a later date.

NASSIT assured the public that a new date will be communicated in due course, expressing regret for the inconvenience the postponement would have caused.

The Sewa Grounds Market, after its commissioning, will accommodate over 2,500 traders. It has modern construction features like, CCTV cameras, large water storage facilities and numerous warehouses and shops of different sizes to fulfill the needs for the different operations and businesses the market would house.
