Sierra Leone’s National Telecommunications Commission (NaTCOM) has revealed that they have received plethora of concerns from members of the public about the increase in the floor price of data to Le18 (Old Leones) per megabyte, adding that have held meetings to address these concerns.
This is according to a press release issued today, Friday 21 October 2022.
The release reads as follows;
“The National Telecommunications Commission NATCOM has been inundated with concerns from the public about the floor price of Le18 (Old Leones) per megabyte of data as stipulated in the Finance Act, 2022.
Being a caring Commission, the relevant stakeholders are being engaged on this and the public will be adequately informed of the outcome.
NATCOM will remain vigilant in enhancing and ensuring consumer satisfaction.”
