The Regulatory body of Telecommunication in Sierra Leone NATCOM has ordered the suspension of the implementation of the new floor price of Le 18 for megabytes with immediate effect.
This comes after Mobile companies increased the price of internet data by over 150%, after a release by the Regulatory body of Telecommunication NATCOM instructing mobile companies to set a floor price of le18(new Leones) per megabyte.

Hmm, the game don get yagba, the youth dem angry ooo, please Papa government restored all our facilities in telecommunications such as free mid night calls, low data tariff and at least 2cent per minute during normal calls. We the youths are pleading. Things are really difficult especially the cost of living. 80% of Sierra leonean are living by magic, no job but you have to spend at least Nle 50 per day per person.
