The National Election Watch (NEW) has released their observed reportson the just concluded by-elections conducted by the Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) in Constituencies 005 and 073 in Kailahun and Port Loko respectively.
NEW noted that both elections were conducted peacefully and political parties largely complied with the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) they signed that was intimated by the Political Parties Registration Commission (PPRC).
“Both elections ended peacefully without any major incidence of violence disrupting the process, ” the election observers stated.
