Njala University Bo Campus on Monday 8th July 2024, elected Joseph Jawa Jokai as the university new Student Union President.

Jokai was announced victorious after securing 708 votes cast by students surpassing his opponent, Jeremiah Katta, who received 121 votes.

Jokai’s campaign was built on the pillars of inclusive governance and effective representation, resonating deeply with the student body. His slogan, “If it matters to you, it matters to us,” encapsulated his commitment to addressing the needs and concerns of all students. Jokai’s vision for a more inclusive and participatory student government clearly struck a chord, as evidenced by his overwhelming support.
