The National Revenue Authority (NRA) has issued an urgent notice calling on all businesses, license holders, and operators to settle their outstanding tax and non-tax obligations without delay.

The notice specifically targets: mining companies, Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) license holders, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), television and radio stations, holders of state land leases, factory operators, private security companies, and liquor license holders.

According to the NRA, in line with Section 12 of the Finance Act, 2019, enforcement actions will commence immediately to ensure full compliance and recovery of all due revenues.

Stakeholders are warned that failure to comply could lead to severe measures, including: Sealing of business premises, garnishment of business accounts, and restriction on travel outside the country

The NRA has urged all concerned entities to take this notice seriously and regularize their obligations promptly to avoid enforcement action.
