Executive Director of National Sports Authority Dr. Emmanuel Saffa Abdulai has taken his campaign against kush to Yams Farm, where an Under-15 Football Tournament named after him is in progress.
From Makeni now to Yams Farm, Dr. Abdulai’s quest to rid society of substance abuse among young people in different communities of the country has gained positive grounds.
Before the kickoff on Saturday at the Yams Farm Football Playing Field, NSA Boss reminded the youths about the dangers of kush and other harmful drugs.
“Kush has destroyed many young men and women of this nation, some of whom are potentials in the different sporting disciplines.
“Through the power of sports, especially football, the NSA under my leadership will deliver a life-saving message to the youths across the country on the negative impacts of kush and other harmful substances,” he told the gathering.
Since President Bio’s Government declared kush as a public health emergency, Dr. Abdulai has taken the fight against the drug seriously using football as a means, yielding dividends in the process.
Thus far, the youths are positively responding to the message Dr. Abdulai has against substance abuse.
