One man has been reportedly shot dead at Moyiba Community in Kissy east of the Capital, Freetown. Eye witnesses claim that the man was a businessman who was at his stall when armed military and police stormed the community and shoot at him.

The man has been identified as one Mr. Kallon, a disabled top-up seller.

Police is yet to comment or confirm the incident, but videos making the rounds on social media a lifeless man surrounded by a pool of blood with two empty bullet shells on him.

Freetown has been relatively calm amidst a proposed protest on Monday, September 11.

Although there was high security presence in the capital, shop owners and petty traders were jittery to open stores in the city.

Learning from past experiences, security forces were in Kissy and other parts of eastern Freetown and its environs.

Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports have also indicated that gunshots were heard at Rogbangba, Western Rural District.
