The newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Orange Sierra Leone, Madam Aïcha Touré, has begun a series of high-level courtesy visits to key government institutions and industry stakeholders as part of her formal introduction to the country and her leadership role.

Since assuming office, Madam Touré has been engaging critical stakeholders whose mandates are central to Sierra Leone’s digital transformation and economic development. The engagements are aimed at strengthening strategic partnerships and reinforcing Orange Sierra Leone’s role in advancing national development priorities.

 

Her meetings have included discussions with the Minister of Communication, Technology and Innovation, the Governor of the Bank of Sierra Leone, the Commissioner General of the National Revenue Authority (NRA), the Director General of the National Telecommunications Commission (NATCA), as well as the Chief Executive Officers of fellow mobile network operators Qcell and Africell.

According to orange Sierra Leone, the discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in key areas such as digital innovation, financial inclusion, regulatory cooperation, and the expansion of reliable and accessible connectivity across the country. The outreach has been described by observers as reflecting a leadership approach anchored in dialogue, partnership, and shared responsibility for national development.

In a related development, outgoing Chief Executive Officer Mr. Sekou Amadou Bah, during his farewell engagements, expressed appreciation to the same institutions for their continued support and cooperation throughout his tenure. He noted that the strong collaborative environment enabled Orange Sierra Leone to achieve significant milestones in service delivery, innovation, and customer growth.
