Pastor Fatoma Tommy Jusu, 38, is facing charges for operating a private security firm without a valid license. The pastor was arrested on July 5, 2024, at his business located at #59c Leicester Road in Freetown.

According to the Office of National Security (ONS), Jusu was operating his security firm without the required authorization. The case was brought before Magistrate Santigie Bangura at Pademba Road Court No. 2.

Sergeant 8687 Mohamed Bundu from the ONS testified that Jusu admitted to employing thirty personnel across five locations. However, the pastor had not completed the registration process for his security firm.

Jusu’s bail application was denied by the magistrate due to public policy concerns. The case has been adjourned to August 14, 2024.
