Former British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone, H.E. Pa Komrabai Peter Penfold, peacefully passed away on October 1st, 2023, in the UK.

Following his passing, plans for condolences and a memorial service has been unveiled.

To honor his memory, a Book of Condolences will be made available at the Logie Wright Auditorium, located at the Ballanta Academy of Music and Performing Arts, 27 Liverpool Street, Freetown.

The book will be open today, October 10th, starting at 11 am. This provides an opportunity for friends, colleagues, and the public to offer their condolences and cherish the memories of this exceptional individual who served both his country and Sierra Leone with unwavering dedication.

Furthermore, a memorial service is scheduled at St. Augustine’s Church, Hill Station at 2:30pm on Thursday 26, October 2023, to commemorate the life and accomplishments of H.E. Pa Komrabai Peter Penfold. This service will serve as a fitting tribute to a man whose contributions during his tenure as the British High Commissioner to Sierra Leone were substantial.
