Sierra Leonean pilgrims have successfully completed the three-day ritual of symbolic stoning at the 1444/2024 Hajj in Makkah.

This significant ritual, which symbolizes the rejection of evil, involved throwing pebbles at three stone pillars known as Jamarats.

The pilgrims spent three days in Mina, returning to Makkah after completing the stoning ritual.

They are now expected to perform the “Tawaf al-Ifadha” and the Sa’i, which involves circumambulating the Kaaba and running between the hills of Safa and Marwah.

By completing these acts, they will fulfill the four main pillars of Hajj. This year, 638 Sierra Leonean pilgrims are participating in the Hajj.
