The Sierra Leone Police (SLP) have officially declared Patricia Mansaray a wanted fugitive following the discovery of a substantial cache of suspected narcotic drugs, along with arms and ammunition, at her residence in the Goderich area of Freetown.

Police investigators executed a court-approved search warrant at her home in Sugar Land on Monday. During the operation, law enforcement officials recovered the suspected illicit drugs and several weapons, which have since been sent for forensic examination.

Mansaray, however, was not present at the residence, and authorities believe she fled shortly before officers arrived.

The wanted fugitive, who holds a Sierra Leonean passport (No. ER202151), is suspected of being a significant figure in a drug trafficking network operating across multiple regions of Sierra Leone.

Security sources indicate that Mansaray’s frequent travels to countries including China, Nigeria, and Liberia had raised red flags and led to an investigation into her activities over the past several weeks.

Following her escape, security forces have implemented heightened monitoring at all major border crossings, airports, and seaports to prevent any attempt by the suspect to leave the country.

The Sierra Leone Police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist in locating Mansaray, assuring that all details provided will be treated with strict confidentiality as the investigation continues.
