Police Discover Military Uniforms, Other Items at Former Headman’s House
The Sierra Leone Police Waterloo Division raided the home of the former Headman of the Devil Hole Community, Abdulai Mansaray popularly known as Rambo before midday on Wednesday.
Police discovered military uniforms, boots and machetes in the room of Mansaray. Red berets with the main opposition All People’s Congress (APC) logo were also found at the scene.
The Police said they were able to arrest a certain John Koroma, resident of Tengbeh Town.
Reports leaked to the Waterloo Police revealed that it is habitual for youths in the Devil Hole community to hold meetings at the house of the former headman.
Residents of the rural community, for the past few days, felt jittery over the gathering of youths at Mansaray’s house.
Police say that they are currently investigating the matter.
