After the arrest of three men during curfew hours at Goderich Tokeh checkpoint with ammunition, the Local Unit Commander Goderich Police Division ASP Abu Bakarr Kallon has made some recommendations as a way of managing his division which includes the peninsular.

“It is recommended that close attention be paid to the entry point of my division from Timbo village axis through the peninsula.

That more armed personnel from the Operational Support Division and RSLAF be deployed at the entry point to my division from John Obey in order to conduct massive manhunt searches for these insurrectionists trying to come from the Timbo axis through the Peninsula with their arms and ammunition for their terrorist intentions.

At least one strong and more effectively functional patrol vehicle be urgently provided for the division to make patrols more Robust within the Goderich division which is now a class A division.

The Police/Military Maritime wings provide close surveillance along wharves on the coastlines.

All strategic checkpoints mounted within the division continue to be monitored strictly”.
