Sierra Leone Police (SLP) has re-approved security clearance for the National Delegate Conference of the main opposition party, All People’s Congress (APC).

SLP made this revelation in a letter dated 17 February 2023.

The Police’s decision came after the court lifted the interim injunction on the NDC of the APC which was scheduled for the 17th to 19th of February 2023 in Makeni Northern Sierra Leone.

The police on Thursday 16th February 2023 withdraw its approval to provide security for the party’s NDC after Justice Hannah Bonnie slammed an interim injunction on the party putting the NDC on hold stating that they are following due process as the court superseded them.
