PPRCSL Holds Nonviolence Session With CHRDSL

The Political Parties Regulation Commission (PPRC) has completed a day of non-violence sessions with members of the Community Rights and Development Initiatives, Sierra Leone (CHRDSL)
The discussion also rolled out the mandate and functions of the commission toward stabilizing the peace in the country.

PPRC held a similar meeting with leadership and representatives of political parties 6th on March 2023 at the new Brookfield hotel in Freetown. The commission engaged APC, C4C, NGC, and the SLPP and they signed a communiqué ahead of the 24 June general elections.

In an other development, PPRC also partnered with the UNDP for the training of women political leaders from different political parties in the country. The training serves as means of strengthening their knowledge in negotiation and consensus building in politics.
