The Republic of Sierra Leone Armed Forces (RSLAF) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with two Egyptian companies, MAG Trade and Investment (SL) Ltd and Find Holding, to foster collaboration on development projects that support Sierra Leone’s sustainable growth and national objectives.
The MoU, signed by Lieutenant General Amara Idara Bangura, Chief of Defence Staff (RSLAF), on behalf of the Defence Establishment Services (DES), aims to strengthen economic and bilateral ties between Sierra Leone and Egypt.
Representing their companies, Mr. Mohamed Atta Gad and Eng. Abdeen Abu Areida signed on behalf of MAG Trade & Investment (SL) Ltd and Find Holding, respectively. MAG Trade & Investment (SL) Ltd maintains a registered local office in Sierra Leone.
According to RSLAF, the partnership establishes a framework for cooperation on development initiatives aligned with Sierra Leone’s long-term national goals.
A statement from the Armed Forces highlighted that the collaboration “reflects the shared commitment to strengthening economic ties and bilateral cooperation between the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Republic of Sierra Leone.”
