The Sannoh Descendants Organization has praised President Julius Maada Bio for appointing Honorable Ibrahim Sannoh as the new Minister of Youth Affairs.
This appointment marks a significant milestone, as Honorable Sannoh becomes the first member of the Sannoh family to achieve ministerial status.
The Sannoh Descendants Organization, which is actively registered and engaged across Africa, expressed its deep gratitude for this recognition. In a statement, the organization conveyed confidence that Minister-Designate Ibrahim Sannoh would make meaningful contributions to the President’s BIG 5 GAME CHANGERS initiative, which focuses on national transformation, particularly through youth empowerment.
“Your Excellency, the Sannoh Descendants Organization has consistently contributed to national development, even prior to its formal inauguration in Freetown,” said Ibrahim Jonmoi Sannoh, President of the organization. He further noted, “Honorable Sannoh has long been a trailblazer, joined by other family members in key national roles, including the Judiciary and senior public administration. We view this appointment as symbolic of your administration’s recognition of our enduring contributions.”
The Sannoh Descendants Organisation is a registered body in Sierra Leone, actively operating across Africa with plans to establish chapters globally. The descendants trace its roots to Lorombo village in Guinea, the ancestral homeland of the Sannoh lineage.
