The Minister of Youth Affairs, Ibrahim Sannoh, has donated building materials to the SLPP Party Office to support the creation of a space for young people.
The donation includes bags of cement, tarpaulins, wooden sticks, and other construction supplies.
The materials are intended to help turn part of the party office into a relaxation and empowerment hub for youth. The space will be used for mentorship, skills-building, dialogue, and other activities aimed at supporting young people.
During the donation ceremony, Minister Sannoh said, “Our young people deserve more than just promises. They deserve action. This support is meant to help create a space that inspires growth, unity, and innovation.”
The hub will provide a place where youth can come together to share ideas and take part in programs that focus on leadership, political education, and community development.
Youth leaders expressed their appreciation for the donation. Madam Sidlena Jordan, a youth organizer, said, “This effort speaks volumes about the Minister’s understanding of what young people need. It is not just about materials, it’s about hope, opportunity, and empowerment.”
Minister Sannoh’s donation is part of ongoing efforts by the government to invest in youth development and create environments where young people can thrive.
