Conrad Sackey, the Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary School, expressed his delight at meeting with the leadership of the Sierra Leone Scouts Association (SLSA) on the 17th October 2023.

The high-level discussion revolved around the ways in which SLSA could play a pivotal role in achieving President Bio’s ambitious Big-Five Agenda.

With an impressive membership base of over 75,000 active members, the Sierra Leone Scouts Association is poised to make substantial contributions to critical areas such as Human Capital Development and the ongoing fight against drug abuse. Their involvement and influence in these domains cannot be overstated.

Minister Sackey conveyed his deep appreciation for the SLSA’s dedication and commitment, stating, “It is an honor to receive the membership of the SLSA.”

This meeting marks a significant step towards harnessing the potential of SLSA to support the government’s vision for a better Sierra Leone.
