In a testament to the unwavering commitment to gender equality and development, Sierra Leone’s Chief Minister, David Moinina Sengeh, lauded the exceptional dedication of Isata Jabbie Kabbah, the former first lady of Sierra Leone, who also serves as the Presidential National Policy Adviser on Gender.
Her proactive approach to championing development initiatives has garnered praise and gratitude from the Chief Minister and the Ministry of Gender.
Chief Minister Sengeh expressed his happiness and appreciation for Isata Jabbie Kabbah’s continuous and active support for the Ministry of Gender. He emphasized that she is not the type of adviser who merely occupies an office and expects things to progress smoothly. Instead, she takes a hands-on approach to ensure that the monitoring and implementation of various projects are of the highest quality.
“Madam I.J. Kabbah is the Presidential National Policy Adviser on Gender, and I am delighted to witness her extensive support for the Ministry of Gender. Our advisers at the State House are not passive observers; they are deeply involved in shaping policies and driving their effective implementation across various sectors,” Chief Minister Sengeh emphasized.
Madam Isata Jabbie Kabbah was appointed by President Bio as the Presidential Adviser on Gender, a role in the Office of the President. She has a distinguished history of leadership within political organizations, including the All Political Parties Women Association (APPWA), which underscores her dedication to advancing the cause of gender equality and development in Sierra Leone.
