The All Peoples Congress Party (APC) through the National Youth League Secretary General and supporters have sent a shocking notification to the Sierra Leone Peoples Party (SLPP) that comes 2023 they will take the reins of power through a democratic dispensation.
The youth wing of the party highlighted the excesses of the Bio’s administration which they say is deteriorating the country daily basis and only the All Peoples Congress (APC) will be able to project the country in an orderly and systematic footings.
According to Alie Conteh, poverty is boldly printed in the faces of Sierra Leoneans as prices continued to soar in an uncontrollable way which makes it difficult for the people to survive.
“The Bio’s administration has betrayed and deceived Sierra Leoneans,” he said. “Sierra Leone is under bondage, nothing is moving under this government, the prices of basic commodities continued to soar under the watch of the Ministry of Trades and Industry.” He highlighted.
Allie Conteh also draws the attention of Sierra Leoneans and the International Community on how Members of Parliament and supporters of the All Peoples Congress Party are arrested and jailed for bail-able offences which he said continued to worsen the democratic principles of the New Direction.
“Our members of Parliament and supporters are being intimidated, arrested and ended locked up in smelly cells for minor or no offences,” he narrated, noting that during the Koroma administration the opposition and the government have cordially working relationship.
“The Human Rights of Sierra Leoneans is no respected; the bullying of Members of Parliament, Councillors and members of the All Peoples Congress Party since the formation of the Bio’s administration has reached to the height of fame.
Sierra Leoneans who are bread winners in their homes continued to face the exit doors in government ministries and MDAs due to their surnames or the districts they came from.
“This is not what you called New Direction, this is not how you lead the nation, this is not the change the New Direction promise Sierra Leoneans and this not the change Sierra Leoneans voted President Julius Maada Bio who promise to lead the country and the people under the mantra of New Direction.” He recalled.
“Go to the Sierra Leone Peoples Party offices across the country and see how the youthful populations are suffering to make ends meet, the SLPP belongs to the upper-class and not the grassroots who toiled day and night to make ends meet.
The All Peoples Congress Party according to Allie Conteh carters for the grassroots and common man in society who put the APC in a pole position ahead of the SLPP.
Allie who was having friendly sparing with Imran Sillah of Strategic Communication Units of the Ministry of Information and Communication was very vocal and defiance in exposing the downfalls of the New Direction government to Sierra Leoneans and the world at large.
“I am calling on Sierra Leoneans and the diaspora to vote massively against the Bio’s administration in the 2023 election,” he pleaded.
The All Peoples Congress Party (APC) according to the Youth League scribe will form a better government than the Sierra Leone Peoples Party who he said carters for the aristocratic.
“Poverty is boldly printed in the faces of Sierra Leoneans; take a stroll through the streets of Freetown and the provinces and see how young men and women who have graduated from universities and colleges scavenged for their living.” He opined.
“Graduates are roaming the street of Freetown and the provinces in searched for jobs, the Bio’s administration will face the exit door comes 2023, the unemployment rate is all time high as cost of living continues to whack the poor and needy.” He described, and urges splinter groups of the party.
“The Sierra Leone Peoples Party only concern for themselves and few cronies who make the Paopa cabals.” He alleged.
Allie Conteh also accused the SLPP for neglecting their own sons and daughters who he says are perishing at the Unity House and other part of the country drinking and taking drugs.
