Mohamed Kallon, former Leone Stars footballer and CEO of Kallon Football Club, is facing four charges before Justice Memunatu B. Sesay and Justice Francis Abu.

The charges include Threatening Language, Conspiracy to Commit Malicious Damage, Trespass, and Malicious Damage, in connection with incidents allegedly occurring in April 2024 at Angola Town, off Peninsular Road, in Freetown’s Western Area.

The prosecution alleges that Kallon used threatening language against Mr. Foday Kamara, warning him, “If you come outside your gate, I will beat you.” He is also accused of maliciously damaging an electric pole worth Le3,000, property of Mr. Kamara, and unlawfully trespassing on a road leading to Kamara’s gate. Additionally, Kallon allegedly destroyed four electric bulbs valued at £40, belonging to Foday Kamara and Yabome Mariama Kamara.

When the matter was called on November 22, 2024, the accused was absent, leading to the issuance of a bench warrant against him.

Defense counsel S.R. Bangura requested the case be resolved through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), which was granted by Justice of the Peace Memunatu B. Sesay. The case has been adjourned to December 10, 2024, for further proceedings.
