Sierra Leone High Commissioner in Ghana Her Excellency Francess Virginia Anderson (PhD), has bid farewell to staff of the commission.

The Commissioner over the weekend, in a solemn mood, held her last meeting with staff of the Commission in Accra, Ghana, as she concludes her diplomatic tour of duty in that country.

While addressing the team at her residence, she thanked and appreciated all staff for their services during her tenure and urged them to remain steadfast and work diligently always for the betterment of Sierra Leone.

Dr. Anderson reminded all about the need to work in the country’s best interest as it is the taxpayer’s money by its citizens that pays their salaries.

With the Sierra Leone High Commission in Ghana, proudly known for its high level of hospitality, Madam Anderson called on staff members to continue in that path and to also work earnestly as a team with her successor, not forgetting how successes can only be made when together.

Staff members render words of thanks and appreciation to Dr Anderson and also wish her the best in her next adventure.

H.E. Francess Virginia Anderson(PhD) served as Sierra Leone’s High Comissioner to Ghana since 2018, when appointed by President Julius Maada Bio and for six years have fostered greater bi-lateral ties between Sierra Leone and seventeen (17 ) missions represented in Accra Ghana with concurrent accreditations to Sierra Leone.

On the 1st of July 2024, High Commissioner Anderson was reassigned to serve as Sierra Leone Ambassador to Türkiye.
