This strategic partnership is designed to bolster maritime training, elevate safety standards, and advance sustainability initiatives within Sierra Leone’s maritime industry.
The collaboration comes as part of SLMA’s broader strategy to modernize the country’s maritime industry and foster international cooperation. Through this agreement, both institutions will work together to implement advanced training programs, share technical expertise, and develop initiatives to ensure safe and efficient maritime operations.
Dr. Kaitibi, who has been actively involved in regional maritime collaborations, emphasized that this MoU reflects Sierra Leone’s commitment to building a robust and sustainable maritime industry. The partnership also aligns with ongoing efforts to integrate modern technology and innovation in maritime governance, enhancing operational efficiency and safety compliance.
