A transfer order released late Friday by the management of the Sierra Leone Police force has seen several of some of the force’s senior police officers moved from their previous stations to other parts of the country.

And all the postings are with immediate effect, according to the order released by the Director of Human Resource Management, and viewed by TV-News24 via a law enforcement source.

The source provided the details on condition of anonymity because they’re not authorized to speak officially on behalf of the police.

In the northeast region, the Local Unit Commanders of Mile 91, Makeni, Magburaka, and Kabala police divisions – have all been transferred to other postings.

Commissioner of Police Daniel Amara Bongroh of Makeni division LUC, is now northeast region deputy regional commander, and Assistant Commissioner of Police Esther Kaintor Dukuray from Kabala, replaces him.

While Magburaka division LUC Chief Superintendent of Police Alphonso Fambulleh takes over commander of Mano River division.

According to TV-News24, Fahmbulleh would be replaced in Magburaka by CSP Mohamed Ben Junisa.

And Goderich’s division CSP Edison Vandi is now the new LUC of Mile 91 police division.
