A Sierra Leonean residing in the United States, identified as Mr. Sulaiman Musa and claiming to be a Director at the Sierra Leone Maritime, is facing allegations of failing to refund $1,000 paid to him for a U.S. visa processing arrangement.

According to a statement issued to Sierraloaded by Mr. Yusuf Kamara, popularly known as One Catch, Mr. Musa received the $1,000 in October 2024 as part of a visa processing arrangement. However, no substantive progress was made, and in October 2025, Mr. Musa reportedly informed Mr. Kamara that the U.S. visa program would not proceed.

Mr. Musa allegedly offered an alternative involving a Japanese visa, which Mr. Kamara declined after consulting his elder brother. He then requested a refund, which Mr. Musa agreed to provide. Despite repeated follow-ups, the repayment has not been made.

Efforts to resolve the matter through calls, negotiations, and the involvement of family and friends reportedly proved unsuccessful. Mr. Musa allegedly failed to honor the latest agreed deadline for partial repayment, set for the end of November 2025, and has since refused to communicate or respond to messages from Mr. Kamara.

Mr. Musa was also contacted by this media outlet and admitted that he received money from Mr. Kamara and promised to make repayment but has failed to honor his commitment. Attempts to reach him again have proven futile. This media outlet will continue to publish updates on the case until the issue is resolved.

The situation has drawn attention to concerns over integrity and trust, with Mr. Kamara and the publication calling for accountability and timely resolution.
