The Electoral Commission for Sierra Leone (ECSL) has announced its intention to hold a re-run of the Village Head Elections in Bonga Wharf and NO. 2 River, located in the Western Area Rural District.

The re-run is scheduled for Saturday, November 11th, 2023. This electoral redo is in accordance with the provisions of Sierra Leone’s Constitution of 1991 (Act No. 6 of 1991) and Sections 68, 93, 106 to 109 of the Public Elections Act 2022 (Act No. 17 of 2022).
