The Sierra Leone Public Health Agency (SLPHA) has successfully concluded a series of training sessions aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of its Public Relations and Customer Relations Units.

Organized by the Human Resources department, the training focused on modern media practices, audio-visual techniques, and video editing.

The sessions, led by media expert Mr. Morgan, provided participants with critical insights into the rapidly evolving landscape of media communication. Mr. Morgan’s extensive knowledge and hands-on guidance equipped the staff with tools necessary to efficiently handle media-related tasks and effectively communicate the agency’s message to the public.

The training was part of SLPHA’s broader effort to strengthen its communication units, enabling staff to utilize cutting-edge media techniques to better serve the public. Employees expressed gratitude for the program, highlighting how the knowledge gained will be applied in their daily responsibilities to improve the organization’s overall effectiveness.

SLPHA’s Director General, Mr. Yankuba Askia Bio, along with his deputy, Madam Judith Boi Kosseh, played a key role in prioritizing this initiative. The training aligns with the broader human capital development agenda championed by President Julius Maada Bio, aimed at bolstering capacity within public institutions.

The agency looks forward to implementing these new skills to enhance its communications strategies, ultimately contributing to its mission of public health advocacy and service delivery.
